About Mrs. Culver

Hello, I'm Roberta!

...and I created SewBirds, a hobby-turned-business all about cultivating and sharing the love of reading. As a newly-retired teacher of littles (mostly kindergarteners) I've learned that in order to become a reader, you must read! I want my life to promote and encourage the love of reading.

In today's world of technology and distractions, why not make reading cozy and fun? That's how I came up with the idea of making book pillows, book sleeves, bookmarks and more!

What design suits you best?

Meet me at the market!

Follow me on Facebook and I'll let you know where I'll be next!

See the pillows, sleeves and bookmarks in person and ask me about my favorite children's books at a local farmer's market. Stay tuned!
